DERA ISMAIL KHAN:Deputy Commissioner Dera Mansoor Arshad along with District Police Officer (DPO) Nasir Mehmood visited various Thalas, Imambargahs and procession routes and reviewed arrangements for Ashura.
The deputy commissioner met with guardians of Imambargahs and listened to their issues. He also issued on the spot orders for addressing administrative issues related to Imambargahs and procession routes.
DPO Nasir Mehmood checked the security arrangements for mourning processions and Majalis. Sub-Division Police Officer City Circle Muhammad Adnan briefed the visiting officers about the security arrangements on procession routes and Imambargahs.
The DPO expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements and issued directions to further tightened the checking system.
