Sargodha: Deputy Commissioner on Friday inaugurated a dispensary at the DC Complex to provide free basic medical facilities to government employees and their families.
According to a spokesperson, speaking on the occasion, the DC said the initiative aims to offer free check-ups, essential medicines, ECG, blood sugar tests, and first-aid services to government staff and their dependents. The dispensary will operate from 9: 00 am to 4: 00 pm.
He added that agreements with private hospitals and diagnostic laboratories are being finalized to issue health cards and provide up to 40 percent discounts on medical tests for employees.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Arshad Wattoo, CEO Health Dr. Kashif Nabil Azam, and other officials were present on the occasion.
