HYDERABAD:Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Aamir Hussain Panhwar on Thursday visited different areas of Taluka Qazi Ahmed and inspected availability of basic facilities including disposal of waste water and sanitation.
He chaired a meeting at the office of Assistant Commissioner and reviewed the arrangements regarding civic issues and expected rains.
XEN Dad Division Khalid Baloch, XEN LBOD Shahab Bhatti, Administrator Union Councils Bashir Umrani, revenue and town officials attended the meeting.
Instructing the officials of related departments, DC said that the meteorological department has issued forecasts of rains and for that reason drainage nullahs and water pumping machines be kept in running condition apart from improving the sanitation system.
He also instructed for repair of faulty machinery in order to ensure pumping out of rain water and preventing general public from difficulties.
He visited the office of Assistant Commissioner, checked the revenue record and instructed Mukhtiarkar Naeem Vistro to immediately resolve the genuine issues of public. Later he visited Jamal Shah saline drain and instructed officials of Left Bank Outfall Drain of
Irrigation Department for cleaning of this and other saline drains for prompt draining of rain water.
DC also visited the Drainage Scheme of the Public Health Engineering
Department at Buchehri Road Nawabshah and ongoing schemes of the
Municipal Committee. On the occasion DC instructed concerned officials
for completion of Drainage at the earliest.
During the visit DC was accompanied by Chief Municipal Officer Anees
Siyal of officials of Public Health Engineering Department.
