Lahore: Punjab Social Welfare and Baitul Maal Department Dr. Shahinshah Faisal Azim has directed the authorities concerned to finalize the Social Welfare Policy document after incorporating all corrections and bringing its design and presentation in line with international standards. He was chairing a meeting held to review and finalize the design and layout of the approved Social Welfare Department Policy Document, which was attended by Director (Admn), Director (PandE), Director MSSU, Director Sanatzar, Director CRPD, Director NGOs, Deputy Director Programmes and other officers concerned, here on Tuesday.
The meeting reviewed the design prepared by UNICEF and conducted a detailed proofreading of the draft policy document. Typographical errors, formatting issues and design-related matters were identified, with necessary corrections suggested for incorporation before printing. Dr. Shahinshah Faisal Azim directed the wing concerned to ensure that all observations were incorporated and the document was made error-free and aligned with international standards. He said the Social Welfare Policy was a landmark document and its presentation should reflect its importance and be of high quality. The DG directed the officials concerned to finalize the corrected version in coordination with UNICEF at the earliest for its official launching.
