Gujrat:Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Health Authority Gujrat Dr Syed Aitizaz Ahmed visited Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kunjah, Maryam Nawaz Clinic Manguwal and the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Centre Staff Galla to review healthcare services and administrative arrangements.
According to an official source, the CEO, accompanied by Deputy District Health Officer Gujrat Dr Muhammad Usman Naeem, checked staff attendance and reviewed the functioning of the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) at THQ Hospital Kunjah. Medical Superintendent Dr Syed Ghamkhar Hussain briefed him on the hospital’s operational affairs.
Dr Aitizaz Ahmed reviewed online patient records and treatment services in different departments and issued necessary instructions. He also sought feedback from patients about the treatment and facilities being provided and expressed satisfaction over the availability of medicines through the indoor pharmacy.
At Maryam Nawaz Clinic Mangowal, the CEO checked staff attendance, availability of medicines and other operational matters. The health manager briefed him on the clinic’s performance and administrative affairs.
He also inspected the MCH Centre Staff Galla and reviewed arrangements for installation of new ice-lined refrigerators (ILRs) for routine immunisation. Operational arrangements of the EPI team support centre for Urban Union Councils 45/1 and 46/2 were also reviewed.
