LAHORE:Deputy Inspector General(DIG)of Police (Operations) Faisal Kamran on Wednesday inspected security arrangements at the Lahore Sessions Court and directed police personnel to remain vigilant while performing their duties.
During the visit,he reviewed security arrangements in different sections of the court,including measures for the safe production of prisoners before courts and their movement within the premises.
He also inspected security at the lock-up (bakhshi khana),arrangements for prisoners’ movement, and the deployment of police personnel at the court’s entry and exit points,along with the checking system.
The DIG directed security personnel deployed at the court to remain alert and ensure strict compliance with security protocols.
He said the protection of courts, judges,lawyers and litigants was a top priority,adding that no negligence would be tolerated in ensuring the safe production of prisoners before courts and their secure return.
He further stressed that there was no room for negligence in court security arrangements.
