Sargodha: Director Horticulture and Engineering Shahbaz Ahmed visited various parks in the city to review ongoing improvement and beautification measures and issued necessary instructions for further enhancement.
According to details, the Horticulture Agency Sargodha was working on a war footing to improve parks and green spaces and provide citizens with recreational facilities in line with their needs and expectations.
During his visit, Shahbaz Ahmed inspected Company Bagh, Haroon Rashid Tabassum Park, Iqbal Colony Park and 31 Block Park. He reviewed ongoing renovation and landscaping work and directed the concerned officials to ensure further improvement and timely completion of the initiatives.
Speaking on the occasion, he said all possible measures were being taken under a comprehensive strategy to transform Sargodha into a green city and improve public parks.
He said provision of a healthy and safe environment, along with adequate recreational facilities, was among the top priorities of the department.
He directed the officials to maintain high standards in development and maintenance work and said negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
