ABBOTTABAD: To maintain peace and order during the month of Muharram, the district administration of Abbottabad has imposed a one-month ban on the entry of 23 firebrand speakers and scholars into the district, invoking Section 144.
The list of banned individuals included Maulana Saad Rizvi, Chairman of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), Maulana Asif Jalali, Maulana Uzair Azhari, Maulana Hanif Jadoon, Shafiq Anini, Maulana Jafran Silvi, Maulana Azam Tariq, Maulana Aurangzeb Farooqi, Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Ludhianvi, Maulana Asif Sial Muawiya, Maulana Masood ur Rehman Usmani, Maulana Khadim Hussain, Maulana Alam Tariq, Maulana Masroor Nawaz Jhangvi, Maulana Shabbir Hussain Usmani, Islamuddin Usmani, Imran Gul, Amin Shahidi, Allama Manzoor Hussain, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, and Chand Pir Shah.
The administration has warned that any violation of this order will result in strict legal action. This proactive step is part of the broader strategy to ensure a peaceful and orderly observance of Muharram in the district
