PESHAWAR:The district administration on Saturday stepped up monitoring of the ongoing polio booster campaign, with administrative officers visiting different parts of the city to assess field activities and vaccination arrangements.
On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Afaq Wazir, the officers visited various localities, interacted with polio teams and monitored the administration of vaccine drops to children.
They reviewed the performance of vaccination staff and met parents to highlight the importance of immunising children against polio, urging them to cooperate with the teams during the campaign.
DC Afaq Wazir directed the relevant officials and vaccination teams to ensure that no child under five years of age was missed during the campaign.
