PESHAWAR:Advisor to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations, Samar Haroon Bilour, has expressed concern over an attack on Assistant Commissioner Mansehra, Adil Waseem. Unidentified gunmen fired upon the official in Panakot area of Tehsil Pabbi, Nowshera.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, Ms Samar Haroon expressed regret over injuries sustained by Mr Waseem. She prayed for his full recovery and directed authorities to ensure he receives best available medical treatment.
She directed officials to conduct a transparent and impartial investigation into incident. She stressed that those responsible must be arrested promptly and brought to justice.
She also praised Rescue 1122 Nowshera personnel for their quick response and immediate medical assistance. Reaffirming that public and official safety remains a top priority, she promised strict measures to maintain law and order and prevent future attacks.
