Kohat: District Police Officer (DPO) Rai Mazhar Iqbal on Sunday inspected Starzai Police Station and reviewed the facility’s key departments, documentary records, armory, and overall security setup.
Rai Mazhar Iqbal closely examined daily logbook (Roznamcha), case files, and other vital documentation. He directed staff to ensure accurate, up-to-date record-keeping, timely entries, and vigilant supervision of all official files.
Turning his attention to the station’s armory, he inspected stored weapons, ammunition, and specialized equipment, directing officers to maintain accurate inventories and strictly adhere to secure custody protocols.
Given the current security environment, he focused on the police station’s defensive measures, evaluating entry and exit control points and checking on duty personnel. He said that officers must remain on high alert and fully prepared to respond to any emergency. During an interaction with stationed personnel, he took time to listen to their operational concerns and offered guidance on carrying out their day-to-day responsibilities.
