Kohat: District Police Officer (DPO) Kohat, SSP Rai Mazhar Iqbal, paid a detailed visit to Cantt Police Station, City Police Station and Traffic Headquarters, where he reviewed security arrangements, official records, arms inventory and administrative affairs.
During the visit, the DPO inspected various sections of the police stations and assessed security measures in and around the premises, including entry and exit points and overall protective systems. He also examined the record and safe custody arrangements of weapons and other equipment kept in the arms store.
SSP Rai Mazhar Iqbal reviewed the documentary record maintained at the police stations and directed the concerned officers to ensure timely completion, accuracy and proper maintenance of official documentation.
The DPO also met police officers and personnel, listened to their issues and issued necessary instructions regarding professional responsibilities and efficient performance of duties.
He emphasized that all available resources should be utilized to ensure the protection of life and property of the public and to maintain law and order in the district.
The DPO further directed officers to enhance discipline, security measures and administrative efficiency at police stations and the Traffic Headquarters to improve overall policing and public service delivery.
