PESHAWAR:Dr. Abdul Salam and Mujahiduddin assumed charge as Treasurer and Director Internal Audit of Agricultural University Peshawar respectively here on Thursday.
According to the notifications issued by the Registrar’s Office, Director Internal Audit Dr. Abdul Salam has been assigned the duties of Treasurer and Treasurer Mujahiduddin has been assigned the duties of Director Internal Audit.
Vice Chancellor University of Agriculture Peshawar, Professor Dr. Jahan Bakht gave them the charge in a simple but impressive ceremony.
On this occasion, Registrar Dr. Rizwan Ahmed, Director Vice-Chancellor Secretariat Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zulfiqar, Director Aamir Muhammad Khan Sub Campus Mardan Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Israr and administrative officers were also present.
Treasurer Dr. Abdul Salam has previously served on various positions including Agricultural Officer Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Planning Officer Civil Secretariat Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Additional Director Planning and Development Agricultural University Peshawar, Director Internal Audit Agricultural University Peshawar and as expert with various donor organizations such as FAO, UNDP, USAID and IAO.
Similarly, Mujahiduddin has also been appointed to various administrative positions in the university. He has extensive experience in university finances, including budget and audit, and has also served as Director Works.
