LODHRAN:A local court sentenced a drug peddler, Fayyaz, to 14 years imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs3,00,000 after finding him guilty. According to spokesperson for police, Sadar Kehror Pakka Police had arrested the accused after recovering 1,620 grams of hashish from his possession. A narcotics case was registered against him on September 19, 2025. The court awarded the punishment after considering the solid evidence presented and the effective prosecution of the case. In recognition of their timely and effective efforts, the SHO of Sadar Kehror Pakka Police Station, the investigation officer and other members of the police team would be awarded cash prizes and commendation certificates. District Police Officer (DPO) Beenish Fatima said that professional investigations and timely legal follow-up were helping bring narcotics cases to their logical conclusion.
