FAISALABAD:The regional office of the Federal Ombudsman has disposed of 71 complaints against different departments of federal government in Toba Tek Singh and Sahiwal.
A spokesman for the regional office said here on Thursday that Associate Advisor Syed Ghazanfar Mehdi organised an open court in the office of XEN FESCO Toba Tek Singh and received 55 complaints against Pakistan Post, Postal Life Insurance, Sui Gas, Benazir Income Support Programme, Wapda, National Bank of Pakistan, and other departments. He disposed of 48 complaints by issuing on-the-spot orders.
Similarly, Advisor Regional Office Syed Hussain Jilani also arranged an open court in the office of SE Office MEPCO Sahiwal and received 31 complaints against various departments of the federal government. He disposed of 23 complaints whereas remaining complaints were in the process for providing relief to people.
