Multan: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle arrested an accused for allegedly defrauding a citizen on the pretext of sending him abroad for employment. The accused, identified as Allah Bakhsh son of Muhammad Nawaz, resident of Bahawalpur, was booked under Section 22-B of the Emigration Ordinance 1979 in FIR No. 207/2026. According to FIA officials, the accused, in connivance with other accomplices, fraudulently obtained Rs 985,670 from the complainant on the promise of sending him to Kuwait on an employment visa, but failed to fulfill the commitment. SI Muhammad Sheraz, SHO, and his team carried out the arrest. Investigation into the
case is under way.
