Burewala: Additional Sessions Judge Shoaib Anwar Qureshi on Wednesday acquitted five nominated accused in a four-year-old murder case registered at Sahuqa Police Station. According to the prosecution, Allah Rakha was allegedly shot dead on April 22, 2022, in Basti Chah Rehman Wala within the jurisdiction of Sahuqa Police Station while he was watering livestock from a canal along with his brother.
A murder case was registered on the complaint of the deceased’s brother, Nasir Iqbal, against Waheed, Muhammad Siddique, Muhammad Zaman, Shamir and Naseer. The prosecution alleged that the accused had opened fire on Allah Rakha following a minor dispute, resulting in his death.
After completion of the hearing, the court acquitted all the accused, citing insufficient evidence
against them and arguments presented by their counsel.
