Vehari:Five children were injured in Dokota area of Vehari district on Monday, when a speeding private school van went out of control and fell into a canal due to a tie rod failure .
According to details, more than 20 children were on board the van at the time of the accident. Local residents immediately launched a rescue operation on a self-help basis and safely pulled the children out of the van, saving their precious lives.
All the children were provided with first aid and handed over to their parents.
