Bahawalpur: Two foreign universities including from China and Turkey have awarded scholarships to the students of Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) for advanced level research. According to a press release issued by the IUB here on Sunday, Adeel Asghar, a student of the Department of Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, received a 100 percent scholarship for higher education at Hebei University of Technology, China.
‘Another student of the same department of IUB, has also been selected to join the Summer Research Program of Sabanci University, Turkey,’ it said, adding that both these students have achieved these achievements under the supervision of Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics Engineering, Engineer Dr. Dileep Kumar under the Global Undergraduate Research Program. Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Muhammad Kamran and Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Prof Dr. Muhammad Amjad have congratulated both the students while appreciating the efforts of Engineer Dr. Dileep Kumar for providing higher education opportunities in renowned international universities for the students of Jamia Islamia Bahawalpur.
