Lahore: A judicial magistrate on Friday granted police a four-day extension in the physical remand of Ali Zain and Mohsin, suspects in the rape case involving a foreign woman.
The suspects were produced before Judicial Magistrate Azhar Mahmood at the Cantt Courts upon completion of their previous physical remand.
The police sought a further extension, submitting that a substantial part of the investigation had been completed but that the suspects’ mobile phones still needed to be recovered.
After hearing the police request, the court approved a further four-day physical remand of both suspects.
The Defence C police had registered a case against the suspects over the alleged rape of the foreign woman
