Sialkot: The 15th Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) meeting of Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) was held at the Syndicate Room, a release of the varsity said.
During the meeting, more than 300 MS and PhD research proposals from 13 departments across 4 faculties were reviewed and approved. In-charge faculties, Heads of Departments, supervisors, and supervisees presented their proposals with dedication and academic merit.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shazia Bashir appreciated the efforts of students and their supervisors. She emphasized strengthening the research culture, stating that ‘universities are defined by the quality and impact of their research.’
The meeting was graced by esteemed external members, including Prof Dr Najma Iqbal Malik, Chairperson, Department of Psychology, University of Sargodha, Prof Dr Rukhsana Kalim
