ISLAMABAD:The prices of gold witnessed a significant decline in the local market on Saturday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs10,800 to settle at Rs 409,736, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 9,259 to Rs 351,282, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs 8,487 to Rs 322,020.
In the international market, the price of gold declined by $108 to $3,872 per ounce, the association reported.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs 142 to Rs 5,388, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs 122 to Rs 4,619.
The price of silver in the international market also declined by $1.42 to $49.10 per ounce, the association added.
