Kohat:A rally was held here on Monday under the leadership of Hafiz Saeed to welcome the imposition of Governor’s Rule and emergency measures in the province.
A large number of people, including members of Tajir Ittehad and the Tajir Action Committee, participated in the rally and expressed support for the decision. The participants observed what they described as a ‘Day of Deliverance.’
Addressing the rally, speakers said the imposition of Governor’s Rule was necessary to improve law and order and ensure effective governance. They termed the move a positive step in the larger public interest.
The participants raised slogans and marched through various roads of the city before dispersing peacefully.
Sweets were also distributed among the participants and passersby to mark the occasion.
