Lahore: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr Usman Anwar on Thursday met police employees at the Central Police Office and listened to their concerns regarding promotions, seniority, welfare and administrative matters.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, the IGP issued on-the-spot directives for immediate relief in several cases. Regarding the medical rest request of ASI Zulfiqar Ali, relief was directed to be provided through SSP Telecommunication. Similarly, for Lady Constable Rafia Arslan’s transfer request, DIG Establishment II was instructed to provide relief. Regarding the promotion request of DSP Legal Qadeer Anwar, DIG Headquarters was directed to ensure the necessary relief.
Dr Usman said that the best welfare of the police force and their families is the first priority and all possible measures are being taken in this regard.
