ISLAMABAD: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between International Javelin Federation (IJF) and Asian Equestrian Federation (AEF) for the promotion of javelin in the Asian Games and Olympics.
Asian Equestrian Federation (ATPF) Tent Pegging head Sahibzada Sultan took a big step as soon as he assumed the command, said a press release.
It may be mentioned that Sultan was recently elected by 24 countries as the head of the Tent Pegging Chair of the Asian Equestrian Federation.
After assuming the charge, he reached Oman with the mission of including javelin sport in the race at the Olympics, where he also met with the president of the Asian Equestrian Federation, Hamad Al Attiyah.
In this regard, a MoU was also signed between the International Javelin Federation and the Asian Equestrian Federation in Oman which would pave the way for javelin in the Asian Games and help promote the sport globally.
