Islamabad:Islamabad Medical and Dental College (IMDC) on Thursday observed World Sight Day 2026 by urging the public to prioritize eye health and take preventive measures to protect vision.
The college highlighted the importance of regular eye examinations and early detection, noting that many eye and vision problems can be prevented or effectively treated when identified in time.
IMDC also encouraged people to take measures to protect their eyesight, including managing screen time and promoting healthy eye-care practices among family members and communities.
The initiative aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of vision health and encourage people to make eye care a priority as part of their overall health and well-being.
