Multan: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), Multan Region, arrested a computer operator of the Irrigation department red-handed while receiving a bribe of Rs30,000 during a raid on Monday.
A team led by Circle officer Headquarters ACE Multan Mukhtar Hussain conducted the raid under the supervision of a Judicial Magistrate. During the operation, the accused, identified as Mohsin, a computer operator of the Irrigation department, Multan, was caught while receiving Rs 30,000 as ribe.
The marked currency were recovered from his possession and taken into custody. A case was registered against the accused while further investigation was underway.
