Bahawalpur: The Centre of Artificial Intelligence and Professional Skills Development, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), organized a certificate distribution ceremony for successful participants of the IELTS Mastery Programme (Batches 1 and 2) and Unlock English Speaking Course (Batch 1) at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Kamran was the chief guest and distributed course completion certificates among the successful participants. Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Kamran appreciated the efforts of the Centre of Artificial Intelligence and Professional Skills Development in providing students with opportunities to improve their English language proficiency and professional skills. He particularly acknowledged the efforts and contribution of Assistant Professor, Department of English Linguistics, Dr Misbah Rosheen Khan, towards the development and implementation of IELTS and English language development initiatives at the Centre.
He said that equipping students with effective communication and professional skills would help them
enhance their academic and career prospects. The Vice Chancellor underscored the significance of effective communication skills, particularly English-speaking proficiency, in achieving success in academic and professional fields. He highlighted the growing importance of strong communication skills for students seeking educational opportunities and professional engagement at national and
international levels.
The ceremony reflected the Centre of Artificial Intelligence and Professional Skills Development’s continued commitment to providing quality English language and professional skills development opportunities and contributing to the preparation of confident, proficient and globally competitive graduates.
The ceremony also marked the successful completion of the programmes by the participating students.
The IELTS Mastery Programme is designed to prepare learners for the IELTS examination while
enhancing their overall English language competence. The Unlock English Speaking Course focuses
on improving speaking fluency, confidence, accuracy and effective communication. Manager Centre of Artificial Intelligence and Professional Skills Development Muhammad Farid Zamir, along with interns working in different sections of the Centre, also attended the ceremony. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates among the successful participants.
