Islamabad: The Judicial Commission of Pakistan on Wednesday met at the Conference Room of the Supreme Court of Pakistan for making recommendations for confirmation of Additional Judges as Judges of the Peshawar High Court.
The meeting was chaired by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, being the chairperson.
The Commission recommended, by majority of its total membership, the confirmation of Additional Judges as Judges of the Peshawar High Court, after due consideration of the relevant Data Form, Antecedents and evaluation of material placed before it.
The Additional Judges recommended for appointment as judges include Justice Muhammad Tariq Afridi, Justice Abdul Fayaz, Justice Salah ud Din, Justice Sadiq Ali, Justice Syed Mudasser Ameer and Justice Qazi Jawad Ehsanullah.
Similarly, The Commission, by majority of its total membership, recommended extension of term of the Additional Judges of the PHC for six months. The names include Justice Ms. Farah Jamshed, Justice Inam Ullah Khan, Justice Sabit Ullah Khan and Justice Aurangzeb.
