MULTAN:Kazafi intersection, popularly known as Chowk Kumharaanwal, was inaugurated after its widening here on Tuesday.
MPA and Chairman Multan Development Authority (MDA) Saleem Labar along with MPAs Sabeen Gul and Wasif Raan and DG MDA, Kaisar Saleem, inaugurated the renovated work.
The project was completed at a cost of Rs 32 million to cater the growing vehicular rush on it.
Speaking on the occasion, Saleem Labar informed that public was facing a great deal of inconvenience in wake of traffic rush and fatal accidents on this chowk.
The design of the chowk was changed to widen it, he said hoping that traffic problems would be reduced to a great extent after it.
Other intersections will also be widened in the city where citizens were faced with traffic problems, he concluded.
