PESHAWAR:The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department has imposed a ban on recruitment in health institutions and offices in designated districts until further orders.
According to an official notification received on Saturday, the district health officers (DHOs) and Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospitals have been directed to suspend all recruitment activities immediately.
The notification states that no recruitment process can be initiated, completed or continued until further orders.
The ban covers advertisements for vacant posts, interviews, tests and preparation of merit lists. The issuance of appointment letters, acceptance of joining reports and placement of candidates have also been prohibited.
The department has warned that any officer found violating the orders will be held responsible.
