Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations Shafi Jan has categorically denied false propaganda and a fake notification being circulated regarding Tehsil Ghazi, terming it a baseless and fabricated campaign.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, the minister said that the geographical status of any province could not be altered without a constitutional amendment, and therefore, the constitutional status of Tehsil Ghazi could not be changed merely through a forged notification.
“Tehsil Ghazi is an integral part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the public should not believe in fake news, ” Shafi Jan said.
He warned that legal action would be initiated against those involved in spreading false news and counterfeit notifications.
He urged the public to refrain from believing in and forwarding unverified information regarding the fake notification and baseless propaganda about Tehsil Ghazi.
