LASBELA: The Lasbela district administration has swiftly taken action to prevent potential flooding in the Narg River, on Thursday.
According to DC Office, on the instructions from Deputy Commissioner Humira Baloch, immediate measures were implemented to stop the erosion of flood rails in the Narg River that threatened to overflow into the Khedinka Dhora channel.
Under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Bela Ali Shah Abbasi, a bulldozer was deployed to the site to reinforce the flood rails and prevent further erosion.
The administration’s response was prompted by social media reports about the erosion threat.
Assistant Commissioner Abbasi confirmed that timely action was taken to address the potential flooding.
