Faisalabad:The Livestock Department has finalized its arrangements to deal with expected flood related emergencies across the division.
According to Director Livestock Dr Syed Nadeem Badar, animals were inoculated against seasonal diseases during pre-flood vaccination drive. He said that Faisalabad division was divided into various flood sectors where sufficient veterinary staff was deployed to deal with emergencies.
He said that the livestock department had also established flood camps where sufficient medicines were also provided in addition to arranging awareness programs for cattle farmers in flood-prone areas, he added.
