LAHORE: Through timely action, the Safe City Virtual Women Police Station detained a suspect near Data Darbar, who was harassing a girl on a bus.
According to details, a woman filed a harassment complaint through the Virtual Women Police Station. The woman provided the location of the bus to the Police Station staff. The Safe City tracked the bus through cameras and dispatched a police team to the next stop. Upon reaching the bus stop, the suspect was arrested on the woman’s identification. Police have taken the suspect into custody and initiated legal proceedings.
