BOUREWALA:Civil Society Network and Kausar Majeed Foundation arranged mass wedding ceremony for 30 deserving couples here on Friday.
Assistant Commissioner Dr. Shiza Rehman took special part in the ceremony and also present gifts to the brides.
While addressing to the ceremony Dr. Shiza lauded role of the civic organisations and philanthropists, saying that the initiative of the civil society in fulfilling this duty was highly commendable and worthy of emulation.
Pattern In-chief of Civil Society Network Shehzad Mubeen said it had become very difficult for most of the parents who were in poverty to pay this duty.
He said they were happy to fulfill their divine duty in order to serve deserving people of the society.
