ISLAMABAD:Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Deputy Convener Farooq Sattar on Thursday said that the party would likely to decide about joining the Federal Cabinet on Friday
Talking to a private news channel, he said that politically it would be better for the party to sit on opposition benches but it was ready to take some difficult decisions in the larger national interest.
To a question, Farooq Sattar said that their basic demand was a constitutional amendment to strengthen the local government system, not the cabinet portfolios.
He, however, added that the MQM would fully support the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in forming the government.
