Burewala: The administration has sealed several shops for allegedly selling vapes to underage students following complaints from parents, civil society and residents, officials said.
The action was carried out under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Burewala Jawad Hussain Malik against shops where complaints had been received about the alleged sale of vapes to school students.
Jawad said keeping children and young people away from vaping was a shared responsibility and warned that legal action would continue against shopkeepers selling vapes to students.
The administration said monitoring and enforcement would be further strengthened to protect children and prevent unhealthy trends around educational institutions.
