ABBOTTABAD:Former federal minister and PML-N Provincial General Secretary Murtaza Javed Abbasi has demanded transparent investigations into alleged corruption, illegal appointments, nepotism and commission-taking in development projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In a statement, he alleged that the province had been looted over the past 13 years and accused those responsible of violating merit and misusing public funds. He also called for investigations into alleged patronage of terrorists.

Abbasi urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan, NAB and anti-corruption authorities to investigate the allegations, audit development funds and take strict legal action against those found guilty
