KHANEWAL:National Highways and Motorway Police ( NH&MP) Beat No 22 conducted a lecture on road safety awareness in a private college.
DSP Muhammad Hassan Bhatti, Inspector Gulzar Hussain and Sub Inspector Nosheen Aslam delivered a road safety lecture to the students of a private college, under the directions of Inspector General Khalid Mahmood.
They said that irreparable loss of life and financial loss could be avoided in the case of accidents by following traffic rules.
They gave awareness on road crossing, over speeding, seat belt and benefits of wearing helmet while driving motorcycle.
A road safety quiz competition was conducted by Motorways Police among the students and gift hampers were distributed to the children for correct answers. A road safety stall was also set up for awareness and pamphlets were distributed which was well appreciated by the students and teachers.
DSP Muhammad Hassan Bhatti said that it was the responsibility of all of us to follow road safety.
