Karachi: The Government of Sindh has approved the High Risk Allowance for 5,840 uniformed personnel of the Special Security Unit (SSU) of Sindh Police, following the approval of Chief Minister Sindh.
According to a notification issued by the Finance Department, the allowance will be granted with immediate effect to officers and staff across various ranks of the SSU. The decision comes in continuation of an earlier order dated May 26, 2014. The approved monthly allowance would be as followed.
As per notification the allowance for DIGP (BPS-20) would be Rs.100,00, for SP (BPS-18) Rs.70,00, for DSP (BPS-17): Rs.50,000, for PI (BPS-16): Rs.30,000, for SI (BPS-14): Rs.20,000, for ASI (BPS-11): Rs.15,000, for HC (BPS-9): Rs.12,000 and for Constable would be Rs.10,000.
