MUZAFFARGARH: Khangarh police arrested a notorious dacoit who was the ring leader of inter-district Kanhil Gang during a crackdown launched on Thursday.
As per directives of the District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Husnain Haider, the Khangarh police led by Station House Officer (SHO) Muhammad Akram launched a crackdown against criminals and arrested Muhammad Naveed s/o Ashiq Kanhil besides recovering illegal weapon from his possession.
The police said that the arrested criminal was wanted to police in more than 50 heinous crimes and was ring leader of the inter-district Kanhil gang and listed in category (A).
Further investigations were underway from the arrested criminal, police sources added.
