Old man commits suicide

FAISALABAD: An old man allegedly committed suicide after severe torture by his son over an issue in the area of Buchiana police station. A police spokesman said on Wednesday that the accused, Junaid Hasan, had divorced his wife over some domestic problems, to which, his father reprimanded him. On this issue, Junaid Hasan allegedly subjected his father to severe torture. Later on, the old man committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope. The police took the body into custody while further investigation was underway, the spokesman added.
