Hyderabad:Following recent rains, a one-day free veterinary camp was organized by the department of livestock in various areas of Kohistan.
During the camp, vaccinations and treatments were administered to livestock in different villages including Haji Nabi Bux Barijo, Safar Barijo, Azam Barijo and other neighboring areas.
According to the Deputy Director Livestock Development Kohistan Dr. Abdul Aziz Rustamani the camp provided vaccinations to over 7,352 animals to protect them from various diseases.
Additionally, over 1,241 small animals received medication and vaccinations for gastrointestinal issues. During the camp, the cattle owners were informed about the prevention of various diseases and spraying was also done in the cattle enclosures.
