ISLAMABAD: A rickshaw driver was killed and a motorcyclist sustained injuries in a collision involving a car, a rickshaw and a motorcycle near the Shaheed-e-Millat Road in Karachi on Friday.
According to rescue sources, the accident occurred near the underpass when the three vehicles collided, leaving the rickshaw driver dead and the motorcyclist injured, a local news channel reported.
Rescue personnel reached the scene following the incident, initiated relief activities and shifted the injured and the deceased to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and medico-legal formalities.
The injured motorcyclist has been identified as Furqan, while the identity of the deceased rickshaw driver has yet to be confirmed.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
