Karachi:At least one person was killed and two others sustained injuries when a portion of a building collapsed in the Ranchor Line area of Karachi, according to Rescue sources quoted by TV channels.
According to initial reports, the victims were inside the building when a portion of the structure suddenly collapsed. Rescue teams promptly reached the site after receiving information about the incident.
Rescuers retrieved the body and shifted the injured persons to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the building collapse.
