Dera ismail khan:District Police Officer (DPO) Ziauddin Ahmed has directed traffic police personnel to strictly observe safety measures while on duty, warning that negligence, absenteeism, and dereliction of duty would not be tolerated.
He issued these directives while addressing a meeting of traffic police personnel here at the Ijaz Shaheed Police Lines which was also attended by SP Headquarters Jalil Imran Ghazai, DSP Traffic Chan Shah, Traffic In-charge Umar Iqbal and other traffic police personnel.
The DPO stressed that all traffic personnel must wear helmets and safety jackets while performing their duties in view of the prevailing situation. He said that the traffic police played a vital role in maintaining law and order and ensuring the smooth flow of traffic in the city.
