Order for immediate implementation of security instructions in schools

Lahore: It has been decided to further tighten security arrangements in government and private schools across Punjab. The School Education Department (SED) has ordered immediate and complete implementation of the security SOPs issued by the Home Department. According to the School Education Department, security checking has been made mandatory at the entrance and exit points of all government and private schools, while instructions have also been given to ensure the functionality of CCTV cameras installed in schools. In this regard, the school administration has been given full responsibility for implementing the regular security plan. The School Education Department has made it clear that no negligence will be tolerated in the matter of security and full implementation of the instructions of the Home Department will be ensured in all cases.
