Over 700,000 animals vaccinated in Tharparkar: Hakim Jalbani

Hyderabad:The Deputy Director Livestock and Animal Husbandry, Tharparkar Hakim Ali Jalbani conducted a visit to the Veterinary Center in Mithi to assess the facilities provided to livestock farmers, the availability of medicines and staff attendance.

During the visit, Jalbani highlighted the measures taken by the department to prevent diseases in livestock, especially during the ongoing rainy season and potential flood conditions. He informed that mobile teams have been established across all seven talukas of district Tharparkar to assist livestock owners. These teams, comprising doctors, stock assistants and other personnel, were providing necessary services on a daily basis, he added.

Jalbani further informed that, so far, over 700,000 animals have been vaccinated against various diseases through this campaign. Additionally, treatment has been provided to sick animals, and over 37,000 animals have been administered deworming medicines, and the department currently holds an ample stock of medicines.

vised livestock farmers to ensure their animals receive vaccinations to protect them from diseases and encouraged them to contact the complaint cell at his office for any concerns or issues.
