Rahim yar khan: Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen on Tuesday visited Rahim Yar Khan and presided over a meeting in the deputy commissioner's office. She reviewed ongoing bridge project on the Sadiq Canal and facilities available to citizens at e-service center. She also inspected the ongoing operation against encroachments in the district. Deputy Commissioner Khurram Pervaiz briefed regarding development projects in the district, and various initiatives taken by different departments. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Qandeel Fatima Memon, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Irfan Anwar, Assistant Commissioner Waqas Zafar, Admin Officer Riyasat Ali, Deputy Director Development Talib Hussain Randhawa, and other officials from relevant departments. Musarrat Jabeen while reviewing progress of 332 ongoing development projects in various sectors costing Rs 60 billion in the district, directed that the public welfare projects in the district be completed swiftly. She instructed that all departments associated with the development projects follow the given timeline.
Two drug pushers held with hashish
Multan: The police arrested two drug pushers and recovered over two kilogram of hashish and ICE from their possession in Basti Malook area, police said on Tuesday. A police spokesman said that Basti Malook police arrested Ijaz with 1480-g hashish and 110-g ICE while in another operation an accused, Ghulam Abbas, was arrested with 530-g hashish. SP Sadar division Shamsuddin supervised the operation led by SDPO Makhdoom Rasheed Rao Tariq Pervaiz and SHO Babar Shahzad and carried out by SI Zafar Hussain, ASI Haji Muhammad and others.
Shikarpur police arrested three doicots, one killed in targeted operation
Larkana: In a targeted operation against robbers in Rustam and Kot Shaho police stations of Shikarpur district, one robber was killed and three robbers were arrested with injuries on Tuesday.
The Shikarpur police conducted a targeted operation against the dacoits in Rustam and Kot Shaho, in which the dacoit Nadir Mirani was killed while the main operatives of the Jatoi gang, Abdul Haq Badani, during the targeted operation against Ali Murad Badani, Yasin Badani, Murtu Kamalani, Shahzadu Kamalani, there was an exchange of fire in which 3 bandits have been arrested in injured condition, including Sikandar Badani Jatoi, Shabir Badani Jatoi, and Rand Badani Jatoi.
On this occasion Deputy Inspector General of Police Larkana Nasir Aftab told they the dead bandit's body has been taken into police custody and shifted to the hospital. DIG Larkana further said that during the operation, Badani, 15 hideouts of Kamalani and Saad Khanani Jatoi gang and other robbers have been set on fire and destroyed.
He said that the arrested robbers are involved in police encounters, murder, attempted murder, robberies, looting and other serious incidents.
Mirani was wanted and involved in more than 18 serious cases of murder, attempted murder, robberies, robbery and other serious cases. The deceased robber Kamalani, Saad Khanani Jatoi was involved in kidnappings and robberies along with the gang.
